Connecting climate poverty, cross-border fundraising and NGO technology

In September 2026, the Lingxi team visited Oxfam Hong Kong to learn about its work addressing climate-related poverty in Hong Kong and internationally. The visit also brought practitioners from Chinese Mainland and Hong Kong together to exchange fundraising experience across the two places.
Climate change is not only an environmental issue. It can also intensify the pressures faced by vulnerable communities. This exchange gave us an opportunity to learn from different local contexts, explore how resources and support can be mobilised, and consider how technology can enable more efficient NGO governance and more resilient social action.
